Meet Ms. Abney
My name is Elle Abney and I teach 2nd grade at Peiffer. My husband and I have a 2 year old son, Lane, and recently welcomed our baby girl, Leila. In our free time, we love to go hiking and enjoy spending as much time as we can in the mountains. We are avid readers and are working on expanding our at-home library, ranging from teaching books, to children's books, to philosophy. Reading is a very important part of our lives. This school year will mark my third year in Jeffco and my fourth year in Colorado. I'm so excited to work with you and your student!

Meet Miss Salvia

This is my first year teaching 2nd grade, and I feel very blessed to be a part of the Peiffer family! My favorite part about teaching is building relationships with every single student and watching them grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Catering to the whole student is what I feel is the most important part about teaching. I believe we each have a gift that we can share with others to help us all grow. I cannot wait for all the learning and laughter this year will bring! 

I think in order to be the best versions of ourselves, we must do activities that bring us joy and peace. Outside of the classroom I love to workout, bake, golf, watch the Kansas City Chiefs dominate, and spend time with my boyfriend and our dog, Bear.

I’m looking forward to this year being in-person and being able to see my students’ sweet smiles on the first day!
